We offer a selection of Moroccan pottery and ceramics. Tamegroute pottery, characterized by its green glaze, is made in the eponymous town, located at the edge of the Sahara Desert, in workshops that have perpetuated the same manufacturing techniques since the 16th century. These rustic, rural pottery pieces, with their deep colors obtained from a mixture of manganese, copper oxide, and barley flour, and their textured surfaces, are all unique. We love the materials and textures, perfect for those who appreciate handmade and one-of-a-kind objects.
We have also selected antique pottery from the Moroccan Rif region (in the north of the country), made by women according to ancestral traditions. The geometric or floral patterns are painted using a goat-hair brush with natural pigments: manganese for black and iron oxide for red. These pottery pieces—inkwells, teapots, jugs—can be used for their decorative purpose and will bring an authentic touch to your décor.
Unique items! As with all our Berber rugs, each decorative piece we offer is unique. Our entire home decor selection is handcrafted by our partner artisans.
Ethical items! We are committed to offering you a different decor selection at a fair price for our customers but also for the artisans we work with.
Durable objects! They reflect the ancestral know-how of the artisans with whom we collaborate and highlight sustainable, natural and recyclable materials.
