Zanafi Berber Kilims are originally woven in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco by a tribe of the same name. The weaving technique for these rugs is very ancient and complex; they are the only flat-woven rugs made of knotted wool. The women who master these intricate weaving techniques do not use a traditional loom. This results in very dense, 100% wool rugs that are particularly lightweight and robust. Traditional geometric patterns are very common for Zanafi Kilims, which are often two-tone: black and ecru, green and ecru, Majorelle blue and ecru, and more. Their clean and trendy style is ideal for a minimalist interior. The dimensions of Zanafi Kilims are perfect for any type of interior: from a rug used as a bedside rug to an XXL Kilim for a majestic living room, you will find endless possibilities with this type of rug. Wool is a naturally durable and easy-care material

Simple daily maintenance

• Regular vacuuming without a brush (vacuuming only)
• Avoid overly aggressive passages to preserve the wool

In case of stain

• Absorb quickly with absorbent paper (top and bottom)
• Clean with cold water only
• Wash with a mild soap (Marseille soap or mild laundry detergent)
• Rinse with cold water

Repeat if necessary until the stain disappears

Deep cleaning

For occasional cleaning, you can use a specialized dry cleaner. Cleaning is usually charged per square meter.
