Azilal Berber rugs are made in the region of the town of the same name in the High Atlas Mountains. Traditionally adorned with numerous monochrome motifs, they are now characterized by a multitude of ultra-colorful patterns , sometimes fluorescent, on an ecru background. Azilal rugs have a less dense weave than Beni Ouarain rugs , for example, and can sometimes be woven with a cotton weft thread, which is notably found in the fringes. They are slightly thinner and more supple than traditional Beni Ouarain rugs. Their design is authentic, blending Berber symbolism, sometimes reinterpreted with contemporary colors, making them a trendy rug while remaining true to traditional Berber art.

• Worldwide shipping : All our packages are shipped from our warehouse in Paris, France, so there are no customs fees for shipments within the European Union. • Returns : If the rug is not suitable, returns are accepted within 14 days. You can exercise your right of withdrawal, without giving a reason, and return your rug, preferably in its original packaging and unused. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Upon receipt of your rug, you will be refunded within 72 hours. As these are handcrafted items, it is possible that a rug may have a defect that escaped our notice. If the rug is defective or damaged during shipping, the return shipping costs will be covered.

• Forroutine carpet maintenance, we recommend vacuuming without the broom brush (suction only), as the brush may rake the carpet and gradually remove wool fibers.

• In case of a stain, we advise you to dry it as quickly and thoroughly as possible with absorbent paper to remove any excess moisture from both the top and underside of the rug. We recommend wetting the stain as soon as possible with cold water only, then lathering it with Marseille soap or a mild detergent, working it into a lather, and rinsing with cold water. This process can be repeated until the stain disappears.

• For occasional deep cleaning , you can contact your dry cleaner, who will then send your rug to a specialist carpet cleaning company.
