We love this Mrirt for its particularly rich use of texture. The raised forms, arranged like a composition of stones, create an almost sculptural motif, while its range of chocolate brown and copper hues lends it warmth and depth. A unique piece, where texture truly becomes the motif.

M'rirt Berber Rugs - The High End
M'rirt (or Beni M'rirt) Berber rugs are made in the Beni Mellal-Khénifra region of the Middle Atlas Mountains in central Morocco. They are the most prestigious and high-end of Moroccan Berber rugs. The weave is particularly tight, resulting in a denser rug. Consequently, a larger quantity of wool is needed to weave a single rug. M'rirt rugs are also washed and brushed after weaving, giving them a silky, velvety feel. They are very thick and plush and feature patterns similar to Beni Ouarain rugs.

Wool is a naturally durable and easy-care material

Simple daily maintenance
Regular vacuuming without a brush (vacuuming only)
Avoid overly aggressive passages to preserve the wool

In case of stain
Absorb quickly with absorbent paper (top and bottom)
Clean with cold water only
Wash with a mild soap (Marseille soap or mild laundry detergent)
Rinse with cold water

Repeat if necessary until the stain disappears

Deep cleaning
For occasional cleaning, you can use a specialized dry cleaner. Cleaning is usually charged per square meter.
