Marmoucha Berber rugs are mountain rugs woven in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco, originally by a Berber tribe of the same name. Marmoucha rugs are 100% wool rugs woven on traditional looms. These authentic rugs feature a weaving technique that differs from their Beni Ouarain cousins, with knots that are wider than average, giving them greater suppleness than other Berber rugs. The longer pile provides a soft feel. The wool used is superior quality sheep's wool, giving Marmoucha rugs colors close to white with a pearly sheen. The patterns, often two-tone or in muted shades, are similar to traditional Beni Ouarain rugs.DELIVERY

Wool is a naturally durable and easy-care material
Simple daily maintenance
- Regular vacuuming without a brush (vacuuming only)
- Avoid overly aggressive passages to preserve the wool
In case of stain
- Absorb quickly with absorbent paper (top and bottom)
- Clean with cold water only
- Wash with a mild soap (Marseille soap or mild laundry detergent)
- Rinse with cold water
Repeat if necessary until the stain disappears
Deep cleaning
For occasional cleaning, you can use a specialized dry cleaner. Cleaning is usually charged per square meter.
